Four stages, one school
We follow the CBSE curriculum in the four stages set out by the National Education Policy, so the way we teach changes as children grow.
Foundational
Play, stories, rhymes and hands-on maths. Two adults in every pre-primary room and a gentle settling-in week.
Preparatory
Reading for pleasure, writing every day and science that starts in the school garden.
Middle
Subject teachers, lab periods, coding and a third language: Sanskrit or Urdu.
Secondary
Board preparation without the panic, then Science, Commerce or Humanities in Class XI.
A day at Amaltas
School begins with assembly under the amaltas tree and ends with buses leaving in a calm, staggered line. Timings move by about half an hour between summer and winter, and the school diary always has the current ones.
Pre-primary classes go home at 12:30. Lunch comes from home and is eaten together in class.
- Assembly in the courtyard
- First lessons of the day
- Fruit break and play
- Lessons and lab periods
- Activity hour: music, art, yoga or chess
- Lunch, then library or games
- Buses leave, parents’ gate opens

What parents tell us
These are sample reviews written for this demo website. A real school shows its own, with each family’s permission.
“We moved to Lucknow in December. The office told us which class our daughter could join and which documents to bring, on WhatsApp, the same afternoon.”
“The Saturday visit was not a sales tour. We sat in the library, met the pre-primary coordinator and asked about the bus route.”
“My son chose Commerce in Class XI after two careers sessions. Nobody pushed him towards Science.”
Come and see the school on a Saturday
From November to March, campus visits run every Saturday between 9:30 and 11:30. Walk the classrooms and labs with a teacher, meet the admissions coordinator and ask anything, from bus routes to homework.
